Reality Bites

Today I ended my inventory and assessment of my eating/weight health; I suck. Honestly, I had no idea how unhealthy I was eating. The thing is, I love food. I love it.

My 6 month goals:
  • Lose 20 lbs
  • Run 1.5 miles in 17 minutes twice per week
  • Practice yoga once per week
  • Lift weights for 30 min once per week
And, my areas of concentration for the 6 months are:
  1. Consume more fiber - 25 g fiber per day
  2. Eat 3 or more veggies and 3 fruits per day
  3. Recognize and minimize emotional eating to one instance per day
  4. Recognize overeating triggers and eliminate over eating
It's hard to admit but I'm 188 lbs, I've never been this fat. And I say fat and mean it; it's not muscle or bloating. I'm just straight up fat. My waist is 39 inches.

It's here where I will record it all and hopefully over the next few months actually be healthy. Will I share this? not sure yet, right now, it's for me.
